Mentees Terms and Conditions

By registering as a mentee for the Programme, I hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:-

1. to interact with the mentor assigned by NTUC (the “Mentor") who will offer advice, share his/her experience and/or provide guidance on my career development matters;
2. to conduct all interactions, consultation(s), mentorship sessions under the Programme with the Mentor(s) in a professional and respectful manner, and in a professional setting;
3. to attend all sessions scheduled under the Programme;
4. to make the necessary preparations (where applicable) in order for the interactions, consultations and mentorship session(s) with the Mentor(s) to be fruitful;
5. to refrain from engaging in any disorderly or offensive behaviour against the Mentor(s), such as making threats against the Mentor(s), intimidating, or harassing the Mentor(s), drunkenness, lewdness or participating in any unlawful assembly.
6. to refrain from engaging in any conduct which violates the dignity or creates an environment which is threatening, hostile, degrading or offensive for the Mentor(s);
7. not to make any sexual advances, inappropriate physical contact and/or pass any sexually explicit remarks or innuendoes of a sexual nature towards the Mentor(s);
8. that there is no guarantee that I will find a job upon the conclusion of the Programme;
9. any advice or guidance given to me by the Mentor(s) under the Programme is done on a pro-bono basis, and I will not hold: (a) NTUC and (b) the Mentor(s) liable for any of my decisions taken pursuant to the advice provided under the Programme. I shall be fully responsible for any of the decisions I have made pursuant to the advice given under the Programme;
10. to bear my own costs and/or expenses (where applicable, including but not limited to any transport or administrative fees) incurred during the Programme;
11. to abide by all applicable rules, regulations and/or policies promulgated for the Programme, as may be prescribed from time to time by NTUC;
12. that NTUC may in its sole discretion, and at any point in time during the Programme, remove me from the Programme, and/or re-assign any Mentor(s) to me, without providing any reasons or justifications for doing so.
13. that NTUC may in its sole discretion, amend, vary or supplement these terms and conditions for the Programme, which I shall adhere and/or agree to.

Confidential Information

1. I undertake to keep confidential all information disclosed to me under this Programme
2. I will not, during or after the Programme, use or disclose any such Confidential Information to any third party.
3. Upon the conclusion of my stint as mentee under the Programme, I will destroy and/or return all such Confidential Information to NTUC and/or the Mentor (as the case may be).

Disclaimer of Liability

I acknowledge and agree that NTUC does not have any control over the acts or omissions of the Mentor(s) and/or other third parties under this Programme. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I will not hold NTUC, its officers, and/or any of its staff responsible or liable in any way for any loss or damage that I may suffer, including without limitation, any personal injury or property damage caused or sustained as a result of my participation in the Programme.

Indemnity

I further agree to indemnify NTUC for all losses, damages, costs and/or expenses it may suffer arising out of and/or in connection with my participation in the Programme.

Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

1. I consent to my personal data being collected, used and retained by NTUC for the purposes of:

a) processing and administering the Programme; and

b) carrying out verification of my membership status and/or information that I have provided in this form.

2. I consent to my personal data being disclosed between NTUC and the mentors matched for the purposes of this Programme.

3. I further consent to be contacted by NTUC via email, text messages, calls for matters relating to the Programme.

Mentors Terms and Conditions

By registering as a mentor for the Programme, I hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:-

1. to voluntarily offer advice, share experience, and provide guidance in the capacity of an independent advisor to all mentee(s) assigned to me by NTUC under the Programme (the “Mentee(s)") on his/her career development, on a pro-bono basis;
2. in the event that I am placed in a position of a conflict of interest, and unable to advise, guide and/or share my experiences with the Mentee, I will notify NTUC of the same at least [xx] days before the first interaction, consultation and/or mentorship session with the said Mentee, and accept any and/or other Mentees which NTUC may in its sole discretion assign to me under the Programme;
3. to conduct all interactions, consultation(s), mentorship sessions under the Programme with the Mentee(s) in a professional and respectful manner, and in a professional setting;
4. to set aside at least six (6) hours over three (3) consecutive months for the purposes of mentoring mentee(s) under the Programme;
5. to make the necessary preparations (where applicable) in order for the interactions, consultations and mentorship session(s) with the Mentees to be fruitful;
6. to clarify, I have no criminal record in Singapore.
7. to refrain from engaging in any disorderly or offensive behaviour against the Mentee(s), such as making threats against the Mentee(s), intimidating, or harassing the Mentee, drunkenness, lewdness or participating in any unlawful assembly.
8. to refrain from engaging in any conduct which violates the dignity or creates an environment which is threatening, hostile, degrading or offensive for the Mentees;
9. not to make any sexual advances, inappropriate physical contact and/or pass any sexually explicit remarks or innuendoes of a sexual nature towards the Mentees;
10. not to solicit any payment(s), gift(s) and/or favours from the Mentees in the course of the Programme;
11. to bear my own costs and/or expenses (where applicable, including but not limited to any transport or administrative fees) incurred during the Programme;
12. no fees will be payable to me (whether by NTUC or the Mentee) for any services, guidance and/or advice that I have rendered to the Mentee under this Programme;
13. to abide by all applicable rules, regulations and/or policies promulgated for the Programme, as may be prescribed from time to time by NTUC;
14. that NTUC may in its sole discretion, and at any point in time during the Programme, remove me from the Programme, and/or re-assign any Mentee(s) to me, without providing any reasons or justifications for doing so.
15. that NTUC may in its sole discretion, amend, vary or supplement these terms and conditions for the Programme, which I shall adhere and/or agree to. 

Confidential Information

1. I undertake to keep confidential all information disclosed to me by the Mentee under this Programme (including but not limited to any information relating to the Mentee's employment status, job application(s) and/or employment history etc) ("Confidential Information").

2. I will not, during or after the Programme, use or disclose any such Confidential Information to any third party.

3. Upon the conclusion of my stint as mentor under the Programme, I will destroy and/or return all such Confidential Information to the Mentee.
