​UTAP is a training benefit for NTUC members to defray their cost of training. This benefit is to encourage more NTUC members to go for skills upgrading.​

​​NTUC members enjoy 50% *unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year when you sign up for courses supported under UTAP. NTUC members aged 40 and above can enjoy higher funding support up to $500 per individual each year, capped at 50% of unfunded course fees, for courses attended between 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2022.​

*Unfunded course fee refers to the balance course fee payable after applicable government subsidy. This excludes GST, registration fees, misc. fees etc.​

Who can apply? ​​​

​All NTUC members can apply for UTAP. However, the following criteria must be met to be eligible for UTAP:​​

  1. Paid-up NTUC membership before course commenced, throughout the whole course duration, and at the point of claim
  2. Course by training provider must be supported under UTAP, and training must commence within the supported period
  3. The course must not be fully funded through company sponsorship or other types of funding
  4. *Unfunded course fee must be S$20 and above​
  5. You must achieve a minimum of 75% attendance for each application and sat for all prescribed examination(s) if any​
  6. UTAP application must be submitted within 6 months after course completion

​Together with our network, U PME curates training programmes to empower our members with future-ready skills and help raise their employability. In additional, for members, they can utilize their UTAP training funds to offset their learning cost. ​

​This certificate course equips salespersons with essential knowledge of Singapore laws, rules and regulations of various Governing Agencies in real estate agency work and practices in the buying/selling/leasing of types of commercial properties in Singapore.​​



Appointed Person-Lifting Operations

​​As the Singapore Government pushes for higher productivity in various sectors, more and more cranes will be deployed at various work places. Use of cranes at site involves many people from various organisations, such as the crane manufacturer, site occupier, crane contractor, and various sub-contractors that use the cranes. According to the latest Singapore Standard on Safe Use of Tower Cranes SS 559:2010, it is crucial that one person be appointed to have overall control of the cranes. This appointed person shall be notified formally in writing of their appointment. This course is aimed at anyone who is required to plan safe systems of work, using lifting equipment and intends to take up this position as an appointed person. It is recommended that prior to attending this course, individuals should have some experience of working with lifting equipment, especially mobile cranes and tower cranes.​[break][break]The objective of this course is to equip candidate with an in-depth understanding of the roles and responsibility of the Appointed Person. Successful completion of the course will enable the candidate to prepare and implement safety system of work for lifting operation.​[break][break]

Certificate of Competency (CoC) in Earth Control Measures (ECM) for Construction Site Personnel

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to understand and appreciate the system of ECM in place and be competent in assisting the QECPs in monitoring and/or carrying out daily operational activities at the site.​[break]​

Feasibility Assessment of Solar Photovoltaic Projects

Site suitability ensures that the solar power plant is optimally located.
